A Jobless man applied for the position of ‘office boy’ at Microsoft.
The HR manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as A test.
‘You are employed’ he said. Give me your e-mail address and I’ll send
You the application to fill in, as well as date when you may start.

The man replied ‘But I don’t have a computer, neither an email’.

‘I’m sorry’, said the HR manager. If you don’t have an email, that
Means you do not exist. And who doesn’t exist, cannot have the job.’

The man left with no hope at all. He didn’t know what to do, with only
$10 in his pocket. He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a
10Kg tomato crate.
He then sold the tomatoes in a door to door round. In less than two hours,
He succeeded to double his capital. He repeated the operation three times,
And returned home with $60.

The man realized that he can survive by this way, and started to go
Everyday earlier, and return late. Thus, his money doubled or tripled Everyday.

Shortly, he bought a cart, then a truck, and then he had his own fleet
Of delivery vehicles.

5 years later, the man is one of the biggest food retailers in the US ..
He started to plan his family’s future, and decided to have a life insurance.

He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan….
When the conversation was concluded the broker asked him his email.
The man replied,’I don’t have an email.’
The broker answered curiously, ‘You don’t have an email, and yet have
Succeeded to build an empire. Can you imagine what you could have been
If you had an e mail?!!’ The man thought for a while and replied,
‘Yes, I’d be an office boy at Microsoft!’

Moral of the story

Moral 1
Internet is not the solution to your life..

Moral 2
If you don’t have an Internet, and work hard, you can be a millionaire.

Moral 3
If you received this message by email,
You are closer to being an office boy/girl, than a millionaire……….

P.S – Do not forward this email back to me,
I am closing my email account & going to sell tomatoes!!!

Amitabh Bachchan’s much-awaited “Paa”, in which Big B plays a 13-year-old boy suffering from progeria that accelerates the ageing process, will release Friday in 20 countries with 700 prints, including digital.

“Paa” is an AB Corp Ltd. presentation in association with Reliance BIG Pictures, which will release it simultaneously in India as well as other countries like Britain, Canada, US, UAE, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.

Directed by R. Balakrishnan, the film will see Abhishek and Vidya Balan as Amitabh’s parents. Ahead of its release, it is having extensive marketing and promotion campaigns.

Idea Cellular had tied up with “Paa” for “Talk to Auro” activity – it will allow callers to leave messages for Auro and in return receive calls from Auro on a pre-determined date. Apart from this, ring back tones in Auro’s voice and other value added services too will be available on Idea network.

Also, Bajaj Allianz has tied up for an integrated TV ad on Child Plans that has been interspersed with the film’s promos and is currently on air.

BIG FM is on board as the film’s radio partner.

While talking about the Bollywood film industry many are rightly of the opinion that for most of the film functions, ‘Planning’ is a word that doesn’t seem to exist in most film people’s dictionaries. So it is not unusual for invitations to a premiere show reaching guests minutes before the show is to start. But there are very few exceptions and we are talking here about the superstar Amitabh Bachchan. It is learnt that Amitabh Bachchan has sent out premiere ‘intimations’ a good eleven days in advance to his guests. The premiere is to take place on December 3rd at a Mumbai multiplex.

A Bollywood insider states, “In Bollywood one hardly does receives advance intimation for a premiere. Secondly, in the rare case that one does, it comes only a couple of days before the premiere, not exactly eleven days earlier! Besides speaking for the meticulous planning of Bachchan, the well-worded letter, signed personally by him, also underscores the fact that he values other people’s time as much as he values their presence at the premiere.”

Little wonder, the industry people say, “There is no substitute for Mr. Amitabh Bachchan.”

‘If you want to serve mankind, go and work among the poorest and most neglected,’ Dr Ravindra Koelhe, who has been serving the tribals of Melghat, Maharashtra, for 24 years, tells A Ganesh Nadar.

Dr Ravindra Koelhe, MD, lives and runs a clinic in Melghat, Maharashtra. His fee is Rs 2 for the first consultation and Rs 1 for the second.

Not only is he a doctor and social worker, Dr Koelhe has also taken the government to court for having failed in its duty to protect the Korku tribals of the region.

After completing his MBBS, he worked in Melghat for a year-and-a-half only to realise that he needed more expertise to handle the problems of the tribals. So he went back to medical college for an MD in preventive and social medicine.

“I have now been here for 24 years. In those days there were two public health centres and no roads. Once a week, I used to walk 40 kms from Dharni to Bairagarh to reach my clinic. I used to see at least one tiger every month. Since the last three years I haven’t seen a single one,” he says remembering his early days as a young doctor.

After completing his MBBS from Nagpur University, he decided to work in rural India. An ardent follower of Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba Bhave, he was also influenced by Ruskin Bond who wrote, ‘If you want to serve mankind, go and work among the poorest and most neglected.’

He toured the rural areas of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh and decided that Gadricholi in Maharashtra was the most backward amongst his travels and decided to work there. His mother discouraged him since it was a Naxalite affected area. She told him that Melghat was equally backward and that he should work here instead.

Dr Koelhe has been in Melghat since then. It has been 24 years now.

The Indian film fraternity is trying to seek 100,000 solidarity comments on a social networking website to urge the government to confer the prestigious Bharat Ratna upon Bollywood thespian Dilip Kumar. Dilip KumarA community titled “Dilip Kumar for Bharat Ratna” on Facebook that now has over 850 members dedicated to the cause was started at the behest of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt.

Bhatt said he was not the only one who wishes that the 86-year-old be awarded the country’s highest civilian honour.”It is the entire industry’s effort. From every region, stalwarts have come out to appeal for him. I was just a foot soldier. It is the Indian film industry’s effort, not an individual’s effort,” Bhatt told IANS via SMS.

The group has been primarily created to seek solidarity from people so that the administrators of the website can bind all the comments in a book and submit it to the president and the prime minister. The members of the community have been asked to “leave a comment or endorse by replying a one liner – ‘I endorse that Dilip Kumar is the most deserving person to be honoured with the Bharat Ratna’”.

Dilip Kumar, who is married to actress Saira Bano, is known for his landmark performances in films like Devdas, Madhumati, Ganga Jamuna, Mughal-E-Azam, Shakti and Karma. Many of his fans as well as members of the industry have put out individual comments.Posts like “Honouring Dilip Kumar is honouring Bollywood”, “He deserves Bharat Ratna. Period” and “Bharat Ratna….most certainly. He is an icon in the truest sense of the word!” are splashed on the online community’s website.

Celebrities supporting the cause include actors like Rajeev Khandelwal, Mukul Dev, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Varun Badola, Randeep Hooda and Urvashi Dholakia. Film critic and filmmaker Khalid Mohammed, director Prabhakar Shukla and popular Bangladeshi singer Runa Laila have also joined the effort.”Dilip Kumar is one of the finest actors in the Indian film industry. He did only 64 films in his career and is still regarded as the best. He is like Lata Mangeshkar, you won’t get another Lata…Similarly, you won’t get another Dilip Kumar. In the true sense, he is Bharat Ratna,” said Shukla, known for his film Gudiyaa.

Till date no actor has received the Bharat Ratna award. In 1992, acclaimed filmmaker Satyajit Ray was the first person from the entertainment industry to have been conferred the honour.Music greats like Carnatic music vocalist M.S. Subbulakshmi, sitar player Ravi Shankar, singer Lata Mangeshkar, shehnai maestro Bismillah Khan and classical singer Bhimsen Joshi became its proud recipients.

A trend, which is carried over from decades in leading Bollywood actresses is that they find their love of life in successful married men. Some of the classic examples range from Hema Malini to Barbara Mori.

Right from the yester year actress Nargis Dutta found her love in Raj Kapoor who was a married man, till the latest affair of Hrithik and Barbara. Many of these heroines have faced a lot of controversies due their affair with married men. They were tagged as the ‘other woman’ and many were shown red eyes. Few lucky once were successful in getting married and other unfortunate once could not. What makes these Actresses get attractive towards Married successful men? The question is still unanswered! But to some extent these married men are to be blamed of indulging themselves into such affair. However, not all jump ship with their partners. Good examples are successful stars couples like Rishi & Neetu Kapoor, Jitendra & Shobha Kapoor and Randhir & Babita.

Latest Examples are heartily welcome
